In Oriente è frutto di una tradizione antichissima e molto diffusa ancora oggi per i suoi vantaggi rispetto ai tradizionali metodi di epilazione.
È una tecnica particolarmente adatta per le pelli sensibili poiché l’estirpazione del pelo avviene in maniera del tutto naturale.
Il filo arabo non ha controindicazioni e non irrita la pelle che rimane liscia, levigata e tonificata, poiché appoggiandosi sulla cute ne riattiva il microcircolo.
Il vantaggio sta nel fatto che la peluria viene eliminata dalla radice andando ad indebolire il fusto pelifero e diminuendone la crescita successiva.
Si utilizza generalmente un filo in seta o di cotone grazie al quale riusciamo ad eliminare anche la peluria più sottile.
La precisione legata all’uso del filo consente di eseguire una delineatura molto più marcata del sopracciglio, permettendo di creare anche forme particolari.
La tecnica non è indolore ma risulta meno dolorosa di quello che si pensi e sicuramente migliore rispetto alle altre tecniche di depilazione quali ceretta e pinzette.
Le zone che possiamo trattare sono, mandibola, zona sopra labiale, sopracciglio inferiore e superiore, guance e stomaco.
Come trattamento infine è l’ideale per l’estate, poichè dopo la depilazione con il filo orientale non è necessario aspettare 12-24 ore prima di esporsi al sole e perché la pelle non è sottoposta a stress.

This technique doesn’t come without pain but it’s less painful as you might think and surely better than other epilation methods such as waxing and tweezing.
The areas I can work on are the inferior and superior eyebrow region, cheeks, abdomen, upper lip area and jaw.
The treatment is ideal for summer, as is not necessary to wait 12-24 hours before exposing the area to the sun because your skin won’t be subject to any stress.
